The Marché des Lices,  the city centre, the pedestrianised shopping quarter and Rennes’ Old Town are situated on the doorstep of Hôtel des Lices.

The SNCF railway station and the bus station are 6 minutes from Hôtel des Lices (2 stations along from the station in the direction of Villejean-Université).

La Sainte-Anne metro station is just 200 metres from Hôtel des Lices. The southern districts of Rennes and the large ALMA shopping centre are just a 15-minute metro ride away, as is the north of Rennes (Rennes 2 University, the Faculty of Medicine, CHU Ponchaillou, etc.).

A 1-minute metro journey will take you directly to the Place de la République, where you can connect with all bus lines travelling to inner city and suburban destinations (price of ticket: €1.50, valid for 1 hour, tickets on sale for €1 each at the hotel).

Rennes Saint-Jacques Airport and the exhibition park are 9 km away.

The Parking des Lices car park is signposted on entering the city. Secure, trouble-free parking in 24-hour car park. Price for 1 night’s parking: €4.80.

Metros and buses run between the following hours : 

- Metro: from 5.15 am to 12.35 am. Trains run every two minutes during peak times and once every minute in high-peak times. 

- Main line buses: from 5.30 am to 00.35 am (lines 1 to 9). Buses run once every 10 minutes.

- Main suburban bus lines: from 6.30 am to 20.30 pm (nine lines).

For exploring the coast or visiting Saint-Malo, for example, car rental companies can be found at Rennes railway station.
